Factors Influencing Outcome of Orbital Floor Reconstruction

Abstract Introduction Orbital floor fractures are routinely encountered in facial trauma. Many factors influence the final outcome of orbital surgery, time interval and extent other bone two which can significantly postoperative following reconstruction. Our study aims to find ideal for intervention association Methods A retrospective prospective cohort patients who were operated at Pondicherry Institute Medical Sciences fractures, between 2011 January 2017 July. All data entered on an Excel work sheet statistically analyzed. Results In our 8 (8/29, 27.58%) had diplopia prior 5 (5/29, 17.24%) complete recovery surgery 3 (3/29, 10.34%) persistence postoperatively. Patients with 7 days found have significant improvement diplopia. or more diplopia, infraorbital numbness, enophthalmos Conclusion suggests that early intervention, before improves provides a better result preoperative numbness enophthalmos, paresthesia fractures. poor when bones fractured.
